In the holidays I went to my friends house for a sleep over. Its was lots of fun there. I went bowling as well and I came 2nd and my one of my cousins came last. we also got 500 tickets because we played Deal and No deal a lots of times. I also play mini riders with my cousin and it was really fun. I also wen to see Cars 2 and an indian movie. I also watch lots and lots of cartoon at home. It was fun to play with my sister and my mum. I did lotof mischif with my mum. I also did take care of my dad becausev he was sick. I loved my Cool Holiday.

Sam and the Magical dolphin By Kriti In the sunny evening Sam was lying on the soft sand. Then a big splash came and the water splatted on his face. “Yuck, I’ve got seaweed and crabs on my mouth”, screamed Sam.
Then he realised that the sea didn’t do it. He saw it was a magical dolphin washed up from sea. Sam felt sad. Why did he feel angry towards a friendly dolphin? “Sorry”, he said to the dolphin.
Then the dolphin asked Sam whether he would like to have a ride on its back. Sam was so happy about it that he jumped onto the dolphins back. Sam closed his eyes and blocked his nose using his hands.
The dolphin said in a friendly voice “My name is Matilda and what is your name?” Sam replied in a soft voice, “Sam”. Then Matilda said “That’s a nice name Sam”. “Thank you” said Sam.
Matilda gave Sam a magic dust bag on his favourite belt. He took some out without looking, grabbed the dust and he sprinkled it on his head. Then he opened his eyes a tiny bit and saw that he could see underwater so he opened his eyes fully wide. But he couldn’t breath. Matilda gave him another bag and he sprinkled some on his nose. Now he could see and breathe. They were swimming when they saw something move. Then it moved again. Matilda swam closer and then Sam saw it was a shark swimming towards them. Sam cried “Look out Matilda”. “A shark is heading right for us”. “Good spotting Sam,” said Matilda.
Matilda saw many octopuses and lots of other sharks close to them. Matilda didn’t know what to do. Then she asked Sam, “Do you have any idea how to escape from these enemies?”
“Well you can use your magic and make a wall out bricks,” replied Sam. “But that takes me two hours to build”. “How will it work if we can’t build it in two hours?” cried Matilda. “If we work together we can finish it in one minute”. “Deal Matilda,” said Sam. “Deal Sam,” said Matilda.
So they worked and Sam was right. They did finish it in one minute. And just in time too. The sharks and the octopuses couldn’t get out of the wall. Matilda swam and returned Sam to the shore and he went home safely. They were both happy.

My Term 1 Holiday
This was the best holiday ever because I got to sleep all night and wake up any time I want . When I wake up in the morning I'm happy when it's a brand new day and I can go to the mall and buy french fries to eat with my sister and i'd better be careful because the fries are hot but I like the crispy ones because they are so crunchey and yummy.

Term one was the best time of my life! Because me and my class learnt about summer health and native trees. My favourite thing is P.E. because the basketball bouce's really high that someone else catch's it. Another sport I like is tennis because when you hit the ball it boune's back to you.
Then I like landscape learning because you can learn about native trees that the naughty possums don't eat the trees especialy the pohutakawa trees because the possums eat the pohtakawa leaves.
Then I like lunch because I can play with my friends.The End

Botanic Gardens
Geuss what! Me and my class went to a native trip. The place is called the Botanic Gardens. My group had four people and it was cool. Firstly me and all the year fours hopped into the bus. Next we woshed away from school.It was funny when we went up and down just like a cameles hump. After that we reached at the bushey Botanic Gardens.It was very beutiful and lovely. Then we ate morning tea. It was very yummy and tasty. After that we went on the Botanic Gardens trail.It had all sort of amazing native trees to look at. There was the Totara,the Kohwi and Puriri tree.Then we ate lunch. It was yummy.Then we went with Caroline the teacher to learn about native trees. It was amazing because trees can have life cycle
23.2.11 On the 22nd of February an enormous earthquake jumped into Christchurch. All the people got terrified when the ground was shaking and the glasses were crashing on the floor like a giant. Crashing inside the building giving a big Roar at everyone. Firstly the ground was Shaking and the people froze like a statue. Next the building crumbled down Like giants chopping bananas on everyone. After that the earthquake stopped and the people got scared and wouldn’t want it happening again. After the brave recue workers went Searching for missing people. Then An after shock came and this five year- Old baby died because of the naughty earthquake. He died when The after shock started and the tv blew right on top of him. I feel very sorry for the people in poor Christchuch.
